This is a statement about choosing honesty over illusion.
About rejecting fake perfection, trends, and social-media performance in favor of real work, real process, and real experience.
The world we live in now has been transformed into a fake illusion—especially through social media. Yet without these platforms, we cannot promote our work. Fakeness has become normal. This makes me angry, but I understand one thing clearly: I cannot change the system.
What I can change is myself.
Instead of following the wagon, I choose to be a more real and honest artist in everything I do. I know there will always be failure in some aspects. That’s unavoidable. But at least this path keeps me true—real, honest, and responsible for my work.
I don’t call myself a tattoo artist. I call myself an Artist.
An artist working in many different mediums. I believe this gives me deeper understanding. I’m a weirdo—and yes, people who make art do see things differently. Normal people don’t question much. Artists do.
I’m not seeking perfection, and I’m not here to please people who do nothing but complain. “I can’t do this.” “I can’t do that.” That’s your choice. Laziness is a choice. Following trends is a choice. That’s your choice—not mine.
I’m not perfect, and I never try to be. Progress isn’t perfection. It’s like a hundred-year-old bar of chocolate—still changing, still improving. What I’ve done over the last twenty years is experience. I’m grateful for that time. I’m grateful for the opportunity to express myself.
You can call me a weirdo—but that’s only your thought.
My message to young artists who want to expose themselves in this madness of social media is simple: be ready to fight. Fight your own demons first. Then be ready to face the people sitting on a couch—lazy to move, lazy to create, but full of opinions.
